May is Mental Health Awareness Month!
Did you know that plants can help with your mental health?
I created a poster highlighting information on the health and mental wellness benefits I discovered on Healthline, but what are your thoughts on plants and improving your mood?
For me, I cannot help but see the correlation between purchasing over 25 plants, spending money and time into creating a peaceful working and living environment as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic rippled across the nation and the American workforce transitioned to working remotely.
Here how having plants have positively affected my mental health:
- I love waking up to my plants! Their bright, green leaves cheer me up, and when I see a plant thrive, I feel a sense of pride.
- Taking care of my plants taught me I am not ready for kids! lol It is a responsibility to care for each plant that requires different needs and instructions.
